It’s taken me 7 years to look back at what I went through. The overwhelming parental anxiety experienced after the arrival of my daughter. Living in a state of fear that something would go horribly wrong, and the consuming protectiveness of my daughter that took control.

I look back at photos of me with my beautiful baby in my arms and I don’t recognise myself. Anxiety will always be there, waiting and watching, wanting to sneak into my head. But, sharing my story, talking, and acknowledging, I’m now able to control it, it doesn’t control me.

A Peaceful Mind was created as an escape from my anxiety, to fill my thoughts with a passion and a purpose.
